Treatment approach

Screening is done before the initial consultation to see if herbal medicine will be suitable for the individual's health problem.

Using a holistic approach, the treatment is very much focused on optimising the overall health of the individual, as well as providing support for the current complaint. A mix of whole plant medicines are prepared for the individual, and advice about diet and lifestyle are combined to aid in healing and nourishing the mind, body and soul.

Training and professional development

Khalda's interest in food as natural medicine developed as a child. She helped her mother in the garden growing herbs and vegetables thus learning about the health benefits of the different plants from her parents. She also has experience of taking herbal medicines herself and appreciates their healing properties for improving one's health and well-being.

Khalda obtained her BSc in Herbal Medicine from the University of East London in 2017, a 3 year degree programme with 500 hours of supervised clinical practice training, accredited by the European Herbal and Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association (EHTPA) and the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH).

Khalda has a special interest in diabetes, allergies, digestive and women’s health. She has a passion in helping people improve their health and wellbeing. She continuously adds to her knowledge by attending educational events and keeping up to date with the latest research in clinical medicine, nutrition and plant medicines.
